What you will do

Building green ventures as a team, your role will be to:

• Lead research through consultations with industry experts and potential customers
• Define go-to-market strategy for the company based on business modelling drafting 
• Develop a financial model (5 year & 12 months) including debt/equity mechanisms
• Own core company functions including product, growth, and business development, for initial phases of the business
• Partner closely with our team, our freelancers and advisors/investors
• Network within our eco-system with green startups, scale-ups & future partners

You bring experience in:

You have following competences:

• Project Management - experience in managing large & small projects in a professional way

• Complex problem solving – abilities as well as the capacity to deeply analyse complex cases
• Vigor & decisiveness – taking decisions implying unknown personal & financial consequences

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team as the second employee, directly under the CEO. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of a promising startup. The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical understanding, business development expertise, and a passion for sustainability within the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full ownership of the company's top line / sales process : from lead generation to deal closure, and customer success. 
• Develop and execute strategic plans to enter and expand within targeted markets, particularly in the construction, event, and movie industries.
• Cultivate relationships with key industry players, including clients, partners, and stakeholders, to drive business growth and brand recognition.
• Articulate the technical and sustainable value of our solutions, distinguishing Voltastic from conventional alternatives.
• Collaborate closely with the CEO to refine the company’s value proposition and implement the go-to-market strategy.
• Demonstrate flexibility and initiative by contributing to marketing, operations, and other areas as needed to support the company’s growth and customer satisfaction.
• Represent Voltastic professionally in the absence of the CEO and lay the groundwork for future international expansion.

Requirements:

• 5 to 10 years of experience in B2B business development, preferably within the construction, energy, or related sectors.
• Strong technical acumen and ability to communicate complex solutions effectively.
• Proven track record of generating new business and achieving revenue growth.
• Proven track record in funnel management, forecasting, and CRM.
• Entrepreneurial, solution-oriented, do’er mindset. 
• Self-motivated and capable of operating autonomously.
• Ability to adapt to rapidly changing conditions and market feedback.
• Project management experience.
• Commitment to sustainability and a passion for advancing eco-friendly energy solutions.
• At least a bachelor’s degree in Business and/or Engineering, or a related field.
• At ease in NL, FR, ENG.

Mobius Benelux

Mobius specializes in the production of reconditioned building materials.

We position ourselves as a player in reducing waste, limiting the use of raw materials and carbon emissions in the construction sector through re-use.

Mobius implements the processes necessary to place re-use construction products on the market. After a research cycle for a product, Mobius creates the technical manufacturing line which allows its implementation.

Sourcing Manager at Mobius Benelux

We are looking for a sourcing manager for Mobius Benelux focused on sourcing reusable construction products on the market of the construction industry.

Mobius Benelux has secured the necessary VC funding, has its first customers in Belgium and secured a product technology partnership to ensure customer satisfaction and a rapid product roll-out.

As the sourcing manager, you will report directly to the CEO. You will gradually develop a network within the construction ecosystem to coordinate and supervise the collection of materials from our partners and customers (from the deconstruction sites to our production warehouse).

What you will do

 The sourcing manager will have operational responsibilities regarding Business Development, HR, Finance, Legal, and Operations (Maintenance and warehousing):

Sourcing/Business  Development:

•  Lead the sourcing initiatives that will contribute to achieving the targets
• Search for opportunities to build a pipeline of new accounts and check the technical and financial feasibility.
• Setting up long-term partnerships (sales channels, logistics...)
• Partnership management: Establish and maintain solid relationships with demolition companies, general contractors, real estate developer, recycling organisations and other relevant partners to maximise the input of materials / Negotiate collection arrangements, contracts, and collaboration agreements / Negotiate supply arrangements
• Build a strong network over time and negotiate with key stakeholders, such as sector organizations & contractors.
• Representation role at sector conferences and information sessions
• Report once a month on the status of the business development actions.

Operations: 

• Planning and coordinating collections: Develop effective collection strategies tailored to the needs of customers and ongoing projects / Ensuring the availability of the equipment needed for the packaging of materials by our teams or those of our curing partners
• Supervision of collection operations: Supervising and managing a team of collectors responsible for recovering materials from construction and demolition sites / Ensure that collected materials are properly sorted and stored before being shipped to our facilities
• Administrative monitoring and reporting: Monitor collections, recording relevant data and producing regular reports on volumes collected / Manage the administrative aspects of collections, such as authorizations, transport documents and traceability slips
• Continuous improvement: Identifying opportunities for optimizing collection processes and proposing solutions for improvement / Monitor systemic and strategic developments in the field of re-use of construction materials, and incorporate them into our practices
• Cover operations until you have hired a COO: Pro-active follow-up on maintenance / Safeguard the excellent relationship with the logistics partners

• Previous experience in logistics, construction or similar.
• Technical knowledge of materials and reconditioning practices.
• Project Management - experience in managing large & small projects in a professional way
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage priorities effectively
• Account Management – experience with SLA’s, contract management & financial management/accounting
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Languages – Dutch & French (either Dutch or French is a must)
• Mastery of IT tools and management software
• Driving License required
• Knowledge of safety standards relating to worksites and transport (Bonus: having a VOL-VCA certificate)
• Keen interest in circular economy approaches, particularly re-use.
• Ability to learn and integrate a variety of content quickly.
• A logical understanding of the technical and logistical aspects of materials chains.
• Ability to work independently, with occasional support.
• Good problem-solving skills to deal with complex situations.
• Interpersonal skills and ability to listen to develop professional relationships based on trust.
• Flexible and ready to commit fully to the new adventure.
