Bernard has built his career at the crossroads of energy, cleantech and venture building, starting as an energy-markets consultant at Sia Partners, where he co-founded the firm’s Amsterdam office. He went on to co-found the US activities of solar investment & EPC company Ecorus in San Francisco and served as venture partner at energy-efficiency company Thermic Engineering and crowdlending platform Ecco Nova. At Eneco Belgium he founded and led the company’s corporate venture studio, and at Board of Innovation he co-created a global innovation and corporate venturing strategy for energy group EDP. In 2022 he founded One Planet Studio to bring proven cleantech solutions for the built environment to the Benelux, and he is venture partner and board member One Planet Studio and of its ventures Mobius Benelux, Recoma Benelux and Data4Green. A Commercial Engineer (KU Leuven) with executive training in Venture Capital & Private Equity (Vlerick), he has mentored young entrepreneurs at the Prince Albert Fund since 2015 where he is also part of the yearly Jury.

Loïc is an operator who turns opportunities into running businesses, combining a bio-engineering background (VUB) with early expertise in life-cycle assessment and carbon footprinting. He built Alter Solutions Benelux from scratch into a team of 13 with more than €1 million in annual turnover, then moved into the circular economy as founder of Freefloat and, since 2020, chair of sharing-economy non-profit WijDelen. As CEO of Fullup, he took full operational control, grew recurring revenues to around €220k a year, invested personally and prepared the company’s exit. Since joining As a Partner at One Planet Studio since 2024, he has contributed to building and shaping OPS, supporting its venture-building process through multiple iterations and helping translate ideas into viable ventures. In parallel, he has led Mobius Benelux as CEO, setting up the business, securing funding, building its commercial engine, and launching local production of circular raised modular flooring, with BESIX joining as a strategic investor.

Timothy combines a VC investor’s approach with hands-on venture building, rooted in a decade of experience in impact investing and entrepreneurship. As investment associate at SI2 Fund, he sourced and screened Benelux and UK early-growth-stage impact ventures, prepared investment committee proposals and supported portfolio companies. He then co-founded Efiko Academy, an online academy for impact investing professionals, and led it as CEO for four years. He went on to run BlueMark’s European impact verification business for leading impact asset managers. Since joining One Planet Studio as Partner in late 2025, he shapes new ventures, brings construction industry players together and raises capital, notably as venture builder at RECOMA Benelux and i2COOL Europe.

Pieter is an industrial leader rooted in the built environment, who started his career as a corporate and commercial lawyer at Loyens & Loeff after studying law at KU Leuven and the London School of Economics. As a Prince Albert Fund laureate, he then opened the North American market for Urban Crop Solutions, a provider of robotised indoor vertical farms. As CEO of Automix from 2019 to 2025, he led the design, construction and servicing of tailored concrete batching plants for the ready-mix and precast markets, and he was co-owner of industrial SME consortium Belgian Industrial Group. He then became Chief Commercial Officer of Aerobel, which turns waste and bio-based materials into insulation and adhesive products, after first advising on its North American go-to-market plans. At One Planet Studio, which he joined as Partner in 2026, he focuses on dealmaking – sourcing opportunities, structuring collaborations and building ventures – and drives the commercial strategy of Mobius Benelux.

Joaquim combines the financial rigour of a CFA Charterholder with a decade of professional M&A consulting and the entrepneurial experience of building multiple clean-tech companies. At ERM, the world’s largest pure-play sustainability consultancy with +8,000 employees, Joaquim rose from junior consultant all the way to equity Partner. Alongside his consulting career, he was Managing Partner of digital business solutions provider Flexentric and co-founded novali, a next generation battery cell technology company. Building on his experience at novali, in 2024 he co-founded Vaar Systems and led it as CEO, developing and manufacturing ultra-high-energy-density battery systems that enable the full electrification of larger ships. He joined One Planet Studio as Partner in 2026.
