ABOUT
As our industrial engineer at our growing facility in L’Assomption (Greater Montreal area) you will be responsible for keeping our systems up and running. You will also be responsible for identifying all possible ways to decrease our investment and operational costs when scaling from the current pilot facility to a large-scale commercial facility.
This is a full-time position at our facility in L’Assomption. Due to the nature of this role, it is a 100% on-site position.
THE JOB
- You will do whatever it takes to keep the production running, you take ownership of the challenges and motivate the team to support you where needed.
- You will identify all possible ways to decrease our investment and operational costs with the support of our team in Belgium, our partners and our suppliers.
- You will be a critical partner in transitioning new ideas/concepts to an operational environment.
- You will influence daily activities and recommend new techniques and processes to make our facility operators more efficient and effective.
- You will recommend new monitoring and control systems to give us increased levels of control on our processes.
YOUR SUPERPOWERS
Requirements / Skills
- Professional proficiency (B2 level or above) in English, French is a big plus.
- Minimum 4-year bachelors or masters degree in engineering or agronomy.
- You can work independently in a small team environment.
- You have the versatility to collaborate with individuals at all levels and across various functions.
- You believe that teams succeed and fail together, and you take responsibility for ensuring the success and satisfaction of your teammates.
- You are a poised multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
- No specific working experience required.
